Daily ops training: View/fulfill orders. Mark completed. Issue refunds. Add/edit simple products. Find sales reports.
Update policy: Update on staging first. Test checkout and critical flows. Then update production. Never during peak hours. If anything breaks, restore from pre-update backup.
Escalation paths: Hosting → hosting provider. Payment issues → gateway support. Marketplace extensions → Woo support. Theme → theme developer. Plugin → plugin developer. “Everything broken” → you. Clients without this list contact you for everything.
Credentials: WordPress admin, hosting panel, DNS, payment gateway, email service, CDN, integrations. Stored securely. Client has admin access to everything — never locked out of their own infrastructure.
Maintenance expectations: Regular updates, monthly backups, annual SSL check, periodic plugin audits, hosting reviews as traffic grows. Either you provide this as a paid service or the client owns it — but it can’t be ambiguous.
